The Mount Macedon Trading Post has been the heart of the Mount Macedon community for decades. We're a café, general store, post office, and bottle shop, all under one roof, open seven days a week at 686 Mount Macedon Road.

Whether you're a local stopping in on your way through, or making the drive up from Melbourne for the day, you'll find house-made food from our Mount Macedon Kitchen, good coffee, locally sourced produce, wine from the Macedon Ranges, and a friendly team who know the area well.

We specialise in excellent coffee, award-winning pies, tempting housemade cakes, local produce, wines and beautiful giftware.

We produce our very own house-made treats and a rotating selection of ready-made meals, baked goods and simple, rustic, comfort food, all available for takeaway.

MOUNT MACEDON KITCHEN

Everything under the Mount Macedon Kitchen name is made fresh on-site on the Mount: pies, quiches, tarts, soups, biscuits, brownies, preserves, and ready-made dinners to take home. Made with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and available in the café cabinet, the take-home fridge, and online.
