Our menu is built around simple, honest food made with local and seasonal produce. You'll find our own jams, chutneys and preserves, alongside the house-made pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches and sweets we bake each day. Be sure to ask about our daily specials!

BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served from opening every day of the week. The weekday menu covers the classics done well: eggs on toast, house-made granola, pastries fresh from the oven, and a rotating selection of breakfast specials that change with what's in season.
On weekends, the breakfast menu expands with more substantial options: think hearty egg dishes, baked beans, and the kind of food that earns the drive up the hill. Weekend breakfast runs until midday.
Coffee is made from opening. Whether you're on your way to the trails or settling in for the morning, there's always a good reason to start at the Trading Post.
LUNCH
The lunch menu runs from midday until close, seven days. It's the kind of food that makes sense after a morning walk or a drive through the Ranges: soups served with toasted sourdough, seasonal tarts and quiches, hearty bowls, and sandwiches and baguettes made to order.
The menu changes with the seasons, so there's always something worth asking about. Daily specials are on the board.
Cabinet & Takeaway
The cabinet is stocked fresh every morning with house-made pies, quiches, sausage rolls, pastries, slices, biscuits, and brownies from the Mount Macedon Kitchen. Everything is available to eat in or take away.
The take-home fridge carries a rotating selection of ready-made meals and soups, made on-site and ready to heat up at home. A good option whether you're heading back down the hill or stocking a holiday house for the week.
Picnic supplies are available in-store for anyone heading to the gardens or reserves.
Dietary Options
We cater for a range of dietary requirements across both the café menu and the cabinet. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available daily. Please let our team know your requirements when ordering and we'll point you in the right direction.
